I am Yolanda Christine Ledbetter named by my dear mother and father. Later in life I picked up a new last name by way of marriage. Growing up in a small town life was good. I was given the opportunity to enjoy the small town likes and dislikes also while experiencing city likes and dislikes thru my siblings and extended family.Through my young adult years I was blessed with one son and 14 years later another son joined us.

After being introduced to a guy I soon became his wife. Being in a relationship of marriage I expected the best had finally arrived. As my marriage continued it soon became toxic and spiraled out of control and finally ended. Having this happen to me was tragic; however it has landed me where I am now. My life story is speaking to any and everyone that will hear and identify themselves with my full story of violence at its worst, but coming out victoriously.
